Featuring the Smarter Technology eXtension
SoM + Customized Baseboard + Embedded OS

Axiomtek's eSMART Service is an optimized process which develops customized baseboard for Axiomtek's standard SoM plus embedded OS as platform solutions with a low investment. Through the eSMART service, 3 ready-to-run engineering samples can be produced within 30 days from the time of order confirmation. Customers can reduce cost and up to 85% of regular development time using eSMART.

STX Module

The STX module is a general purpose processing system-on-module (SoM) with complete computing ability in a very compact size. Although the STX Module is configured to various functions and power schemes, it always needs to be configured through its output interface and work with Baseboards. The STX module is a general purpose processing system-on-module (SoM) with complete computing ability in a very compact size. Although the STX Module is configured to various functions and power schemes, it always needs to be configured through its output interface and work with Baseboards. STX shares the same form factor as PC/104 which is 3.6"x3.8" and applied the same 4 mounting holes.
Baseboard
The Baseboard is the I/O outlet board for STX module through STX interfaces. It is capable of providing standard PC I/O signals converting and output, such as, COM port TTL-level signals to RS-232/422/485, AC-link to AC'97 Audio via AC'97 Codec, Ethernet signals from digital to analog and output for Parallel port, IrDA, Floppy, USB, IDE, LCD, CRT, and etc. The STX Baseboard could be any size. The standard form factors are PC104, 3.5", 5.25" and ATX.
STX Features

- Simple design of application baseboards
- Easy adaptation to PC/104 (ISA) and PC/104plus (PCI) interfaces
- No cable interfaces desired on the ePC module
